POI - 008

The Itsboyoshi remnants.

General description

Found in the border of Karakura and the Itsboyoshi forest.

The Itsboyoshi remnants are a cluster of structures. Said structures are found at the park known as the Itsboyoshi trail.

 

The remnants seem to had been property of the feudal families which ruled Karakura in long past times.

Zones

The cabin

Following the Itsboyoshi trail one can find the cabin. The cabin is an detered small structure. Would have had only one room.

The walls would be white and have fenced windows. The floor was made of spruce wood.

 

The floor is destroyed and the ceiling is also completly gone. There are no ruins of wall that should be facing the mountain, but a yin-yang symbol carved deep in the stone with a radius of 2 meters.

Descending down in the hole of the middle of the cabin leads to the deepths, concretly to the base.

The base

The base of the cabin is a hole that would have been covered by the cabins floor.

This section is purely mountain stone , especifically gray stone and dripstone. There are a few spikes at the bottom. One can also find an skull and some weird carvings.

On the scarped walls of the base on can find a hole. Crawling throught it leads to the natural pool

The natural  pool

This small section of the cavern holds a natural pool of frigid water. Icicles are found all around the place. The air is cutting and cold. The stony walls are covered in crystals.

A tunnel can be easily spotted. The tunnel leads to the depths of the cave.

The depths

At this point the cavern becomes mostly vertical.Thanks to some stairs carved in the stone one can find their way down.

Becareful not to slip

The walls of the cave are stony gray. This section of the cave has the stunning height of 15 meters. At the bottom one can find weird writtings.

Entities

General view

Finding entities here is weird, execept at night time.

Non-human entities

Animals: They normally stay away from the POI-008. Even though the forest is full of them.

Ghosts: They only appear at night time. They used to be more common during the October Incident, in the present, thier activity has decreased.

Human entities

You can find few people in the area. Out of them, these main groups are the ones you'll see the most.

  • Senderists: Citizens who want to do exercise like walking and climing, you will find them during the day.

  • KUERT members: You can ask us for help to leave this place.

  • Criminals: Self explanatory. They are dangerous, may try to mug, rob and or kidnap. Avoid. 

  • Explorers: They are not harmful, you may ask them for food or help if you want so.

Entrances and exits

There are not many exits or entrances

  • Entrance/exit: One can leave the cabin very easily. If you are in the base you will have to do a bit of parkour to get to the cabin and leave.

  • Entrance: An small tunnel can be found near the path that leads to POI-008. Going through this small tunnel will leave you in the bottom of the cave.

Enviormental threaths

There are a few enviormental threaths to the explorator.

  • Structure innestability: Some places are falling apart. The team doesn't know if any of the caves could collapse.

  • Internet access: There is not signal in the POI-008. 

  • Flood dangers: During monsoons, the bottom of the cave may flood completly.

Trivia

  • The skull at the base is called hank.

  • There are no bottoms at the cave. The bottom of cave is just a place. Please stop horny.

  • 👻<--Will take your organs away.

  • A track student was possessed in the night of (9/10/2023) near the POI-008.
