General description

General description: The POI-002 is a small jail, not in use anymore. The structure is made of stone bricks some are cracked others are mossy. There aren’t many light sources in the POI-002. Any exception to the description will be specified in the zone section.

Zones

The hall

The function of the hall is to connect the entrances, exits, management zone, cells and the burner. The hall is made of the already named stone bricks. The cells are at one side of the hall, at the opposite is a wood door that leads back in the sewers. The hall does connect to one more room, the management room. At the opposite side there is another exit leading to the sewers.

The cells

There are three cells. They go from 015 to 017. All cells have a few things in common. They are 3(x),5(z),3(y). Have a metal door with an outside lever. These have their materials pretty deteriorated. The only accommodation the inmate would have is a toilet, which can be used to escape from any jail.

Cells have many vermin living inside of them. Moho and other toxic organisms are also present in them. The moho could numb you if you breathe its vapors. For the toilet, the water inside should not be consumed if other alternatives are present because algae and other bacteria are present in the water.

There are many writings on the wall that can be used to give us information. We cannot make sure how many inmates have been imprisoned as they could have died and been replaced by others.

On the 17th cell there is a tunnel carved in the rock that an inmate probably made to escape although the tunnel doesn’t lead anywhere.

The management room

Mainly used to store objects of importance to the guards. Like handbooks with inmate information and storage equipment. Sadly none of these objects are found here. This room also connects to the burner. A small instance made of steel with fused material. The door can only be opened from outside, in conclusion don’t enter the burner.

Entities

General view

There are a high number of non-human entities overall. You probably won't encounter any humans, but the types of people you can find here are quite diverse

Non-human entities

Many vermin have this place as their home. Rats, cockroaches, spiders etc. They won’t hurt you so you will be fine. In the cell walls there is moho, don’t breathe it’s vapors as it can numb you. Algae is present in the cell and toilet so you shouldn’t drink its water unless it's your last resource.

Human entities

Encountering humans is extremely strange down here but you could face 4 scenarios when meeting someone in here.

  • KUERT members: We come down here to make sure no one has been trapped in here while we wait for the media to address this place. In case someone is trapped we will proceed to free them, provide the inmate with resources, guide them out of the sewers and organise a meeting between the KPD and the inmate.

  • Inmates: Trapped within the dark of the cell, you should free them, if not you may be reported to the arthritis by the inmate when is freed by someone else. If you encounter an inmate report it to us so we can arrange a meeting between the KPD and both of you.

  • Explorers: Just like any other traveler they probably won’t hurt you. You can ask them for resources and food, even to get you out of the place.

  • Guards: Nothing is known about them, maybe they have left this place and hidden elsewhere to continue with their crimes, they could have even put aside the wicked manner of trapping people inside underground prisons. It’s unknown what they did in this structure but chances are that they have committed worse crimes than the notable gangs of karakura. Don’t face them. Hide and run if you are cursed with being near them in this place, send any information about them to the authorities and us, and disappear out of their radar as fast as possible.

Entrances and exits

The entrance difficulty is really low in the vast majority of cases. Exiting is also the same child's game but if you were to be trapped in the jail the chances of leaving go down, fear not we have info about how to get out of this place.

  • Entrance/exit:The door in the hall which is located at the opposite wall to the cells. Going through this door will get you to the sewers.

  • Entrance/exit: Going the opposite way to the management room will lead to sewers.

  • Entrance/exit: Going into the big canals connected with the toilet and diving into the big pipes will get you to the sewers. Only attempt this if you have really good swimming skills and you have no other way to leave.
