Group class: Safe and innactive

There are no signs of this group having commited crimes during it's existance.

General description

Bandera was an open source criminal reporting network, inspired by the now shut down LiveLeak, that used to operate at the criminal-infested town of Karakura.

The objective of bandera was to report the crimes that were found and post it at onrain for everyone to see.

History

Not a long lived operation (X/7/2023- 11/9/2023)

Bandera's first activity began at onrain in the July of 2023. They only made 2 posts that can be found in their profile. But after two months of media silence KUERT was informed about Bandera being shut down. The reasons were that the creators were not interested in the proyect anymore.

Workers and group structure

General view

Bandera's structure of agents was an strange one. The average civilian was the anonymous reporter and the administrators just posted the report. Who were the administrators, from now on it is just a theory but probably a group of 2 or 3 people.

Services

Bandera's services were simple. If you saw an ongoing crime or some weird stuff you could anonymously dm them throguh onrain or call them by a phone line. The reporting individual would give the context of the situation an some visual evidence. Then they would upload the image with an small explanation of the situation.

Group relations

Bandera's relations with other groups are mostly unkown. But the interest on crimes and the underworld cathced the attention of a few groups.

KUERT

KUERT was interested in Bandera's operation. We believed it could help our team know what was happening in the city.  There were a few collaborations with KUERT and Bandera like facilitating each other information such as reports or POI's. The group fell into innactivity shortly after.

[REDACTED]

[REDACTED]'s members were disgusted by the idea of making the criminal world more open and proceeded to intimidate bandera. A [REDACTED] member whose identy was never revealed by Bandera sent the following images.

The reporting service was never scared of the threats. Bandera became innactive for the reasons explained in the history section and no further conflict developed.

(Bandera also confirmed that the person in the picture is an stranger and that they don't know them)
